Spend the day exploring Roatan beyond the beach. Your private driver-guide takes you east for a mix of coastal scenery, mangrove waterways and the island's living Garifuna culture.

The day, hour by hour

  1. Pickup & east-end drive
    Meet your driver-guide at your agreed pickup point and head east through Roatan's coastal communities.
  2. Mangrove boat ride
    Trade the road for the water and explore the sheltered mangrove channels by boat.
  3. Turtle sanctuary
    Visit the sanctuary and learn about its marine life. Follow staff guidance and observe the animals respectfully.
  4. Snorkeling stop
    Explore the water with snorkeling equipment provided. The stop depends on weather and sea conditions.
  5. Punta Gorda culture & return
    Visit the Garifuna community, learn about its island heritage and enjoy time for an optional local meal before returning to your pickup point.
