Refund Policy

We're a locally-owned operator and we want your day in Roatan to go smoothly. Our policy is intentionally clear and fair — no fine print.

Free cancellation up to 24 hours before

Cancel your booking any time up to 24 hours before the start of your tour and we'll refund you in full. No questions, no fees. Just message us via WhatsApp at +504 9632-6585 or reply to your booking confirmation email.

Full refund if your ship can't dock

If your cruise ship is unable to dock in Roatan due to weather, sea conditions, port closures, or any other reason outside your control, you receive a full refund — even if you can't notify us in advance. Just message us when you're back in service and we'll process the refund immediately.

Operator cancellations

If we cancel your tour for any reason (weather, mechanical issue, guide unavailability), you receive a full refund or, where possible, the option of an alternative tour of equal value on the same day.

Cancellations within 24 hours

Once we're inside the 24-hour window, we've typically committed transport, guide, and entry fees on your behalf. Refunds at this stage are at our discretion and reviewed case-by-case. We'll always be reasonable — if you have a genuine emergency or your itinerary changed last-minute, message us and we'll do what's right.

Issues during a tour

If something doesn't go as expected on the day, please tell your guide first — most issues can be resolved on the spot. If you'd still like to follow up afterwards, contact us within 7 days at hello@roatanwonders.com and we'll review your concern individually. We'll work with you to make it right.

No-shows

If you don't show up at the agreed pickup point and we haven't heard from you, the booking is treated as a no-show and is not refundable. We hold the slot for 30 minutes past the pickup time before releasing it. If you're running late, message us on WhatsApp and we'll do everything we can to wait or reschedule.

Deposits

If you reserved with a 40% deposit and need to cancel within the cancellation window, your deposit is refunded in full. The remaining 60% balance was never charged, so there's nothing else to recover.

How refunds are processed

Refunds are issued through PayPal back to the original payment method (your card or PayPal balance). Once we issue the refund, PayPal typically takes 1–10 business days to return the funds to your account, depending on your bank.
