Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your booking with Roatan Wonders, a locally-owned tour operator based in Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras (“Roatan Wonders”, “we”, “our”). By placing a booking through https://roatanwonders.com, you accept these terms.

1. Booking & payment

A booking is confirmed once payment (full or 40% deposit) is captured through our payment processor (PayPal). Prices are stated in U.S. dollars and include all activity entry fees, transfers, and items listed under "Included" on the tour page, unless explicitly stated otherwise. When a deposit is selected, the remaining balance is due in cash to your guide on the tour day.

2. Cancellation & refunds

See our Refund Policy for full details. Briefly: free cancellation up to 24 hours before your tour; full refund if your ship is unable to dock; issues raised within 7 days of your tour are reviewed case-by-case.

3. Inherent risks & participant responsibility

Tour activities (snorkeling, ziplines, ATV operation, animal interactions, boating, horseback riding, etc.) carry inherent risks. By booking, you confirm that you and everyone in your party are medically fit to participate, will follow guide instructions, and accept responsibility for personal safety. You agree to disclose relevant medical conditions or mobility limitations at the time of booking so we can accommodate them where possible.

We reserve the right to refuse participation in any activity if, in our reasonable judgement, a participant's safety or that of others would be at risk.

4. Insurance

We strongly recommend that all guests carry travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical expenses, and personal effects for the duration of their cruise. Roatan Wonders is not responsible for losses, injuries, or expenses that would normally be covered by travel insurance.

5. Changes & force majeure

We may modify or cancel a tour due to weather, sea conditions, port closures, mechanical issues, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. In such cases we offer a full refund or — where possible — an alternative tour of equal value.

Cruise itinerary changes (port skips, delays) are common and outside our control. If your ship cannot dock, contact us via WhatsApp at +504 9632-6585 for an immediate full refund.

6. Photography

Guides may take photographs during tours for sharing back with you. We may also use tour photographs for marketing on our website and social channels. If you do not wish to appear in marketing photos, please tell your guide at the start of the tour and we will respect that throughout.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Honduran law, our liability for any claim arising from your booking is limited to the amount you paid for the tour. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to missed cruise departures where the cause is outside our reasonable control (e.g. unforeseen traffic, late customer pickup, or force majeure events).

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Honduras. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought before the competent courts of the Bay Islands, Honduras.
